Jim Crowley hosts an intermediate Irish traditional music session.  Music is available here (Intermediate Book 1, Intermediate Book 2). Format is round robin with each participant naming a tune from the published book list. Food, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer are available.

First Saturday Beginner Hosted Slow/ Moderate Session (Albuquerque)

Time: 1st Saturday of each month, 12-2pm
Location: High and Dry Brewing: 529 Adams St NE, Albuquerque, NM (Map)
Host: Barbara Herrington

Based on feedback from the group, this Session will transform into a more MODERATE session rather than a strictly SLOW session, which hopefully will work for beginners as well as longer term players. We’ll pick tunes from the list (contained in both the first and third Saturday music books) and you can work on getting up to speed for the third Saturday session, which will be faster and also include an “open” portion where any tunes can be called.
